The Popular Party (PP) has introduced a digital initiative that includes an interactive website created to showcase alleged corruption cases connected to the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE). The party, headed by Alberto Núñez Feijóo, argues that the many judicial scandals, whether tied to the PSOE directly or through indirect links, warrant the launch of this informational platform. The site, titled “La trama PSOE” (“The PSOE Plot”), is intended to clearly and visually present every judicial dispute associated with the party.

The campaign was presented on social media with a message emphasizing the magnitude of the accusations: “There is so much corruption in the PSOE that it’s sometimes hard to follow. To make sure you don’t miss anything, visit here.” In parallel, a video was released detailing the main judicial investigations involving Socialist leaders, including figures like José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, linked to the Plus Ultra case, as well as individuals close to the current president, Pedro Sánchez.

Narrated in a somber tone, the video asserts that “this isn’t about an isolated headline but about understanding the bigger picture,” and enumerates: “15 cases, 90 indicted individuals, 19 different crimes, and up to 1,817 years of accumulated prison sentences.” It also references key PSOE figures such as José Luis Ábalos and Santos Cerdán, while mentioning familial ties of the president himself, suggesting that “Sánchez’s inner circle” is a central part of the problem.

The release of this website comes at a time of heightened political polarization, with judicial cases becoming frequent tools of confrontation between the main political parties. The PP’s initiative has generated significant controversy and thousands of interactions on social media, further intensifying the political debate.
