These documents reveal disconcerting details that suggest that the person who presented herself as the victim, Bertha Michelle Mendoza Muñoz, conspired with her two daughters to carry out the kidnapping in order to incriminate her ex-husband and fabricate false accusations against her.
According to police reports, during the kidnapping, Bertha Michelle Mendoza and her two daughters were in the company of the daughter of the mayor of Zunlito, Suchitepéquez. However, subsequent investigations have revealed that the kidnapping was planned by Mendoza herself, in complicity with her mother, prosecutor Claudia Martina Muñoz Andrade.

Also, alleged irregularities in the use of resources and abuse of power were alleged. According to prosecutors consulted, Muñoz Andrade’s dismissal occurred in 2010.
